Episode FIVE!! We're longer still this week!! This time we have a monologue which first appeared on this blog - both Dameus and Yeti Uncle John are back to make comment. Our special guest is one of my oldest friends, Harry; this is part one of a two part interview where we chat about our school days, making films together and our shared music and TV favourites. We're BACK! Already!! It's our longest one EVER!! This time we're having trouble with our guests - but Mr Yeti does try to explain his 90s movie making pursuits... Dameus is about to make a film - there is a poem about fish and chips, a discussion on vinyl - more library gossip, some messages and a doughnut... In this, our third full-length episode, Mr Yeti and his flat-mate Calum head off to Amsterdam for Calum's birthday! Alas all does not go quite to plan - but there is a lot chat about holidays gone by - a trip on the canal and some chatting with a zoo animal or two! In this, our second full-length episode of THE SHY LIFE PODCAST, Mr Yeti returns to the location of one of his first full time jobs - which he began 20 years ago this year! His mum is also on hand to share stories of her library days... We also delve into listener's letters, hear this episode's poem, reacquaint ourselves with Dameus Twinklehorn and have a little chat about some second-hand vinyl... This is the pilot episode for my forthcoming THE SHY LIFE PODCAST which I hope to start posting regularly later in the summer. This is a shorter episode, with no guests - but it does give you an idea of some of the silliness that will be involved. In this pilot episode you will find some daft secrets about libraries - a poem from my latest E.P. (THE KISS-ME-QUICK E.P. available from Bandcamp) and there are also some musings from legendary actor Dameus Twinklehorn about his appearances in a number of horror films in the late 1960s.
